Nigerian Women’s Support Network

The Nigerian Women’s Support Network (NWSN) is a faith-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women, children, and families in need through the love of Christ. Founded in 1995, our organization was established by women who felt called to put their faith into action by helping those facing hardship, poverty, and adversity.

For more than three decades, we have worked to be the hands and feet of Christ by extending compassion, hope, and practical support to vulnerable communities in Nigeria and the United States. Guided by Christian principles of love, service, generosity, and stewardship, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

To demonstrate God’s love through service by empowering women, supporting families, caring for vulnerable children, and providing humanitarian assistance that brings hope, dignity, and opportunity to communities in need.

Our Story

The Nigerian Women’s Support Network was founded in 1995 by a group of Christian women united by a shared desire to serve God through serving others. What began as a small fellowship committed to helping those in need has grown into a nonprofit organization impacting lives across Nigeria and the United States.

Throughout our history, we have supported orphanages by providing financial assistance, food, clothing, educational resources, and other essential needs for vulnerable children. We have also helped women establish small businesses and income-generating opportunities, empowering them to provide for their families and build brighter futures.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our members came together to provide food and basic necessities to villages and families facing severe hardship. Through God’s provision and the generosity of our supporters, we were able to bring relief, encouragement, and hope during one of the most challenging periods many communities had ever experienced.

Our commitment to service extends beyond international outreach. We proudly support local charities and community organizations in the United States, partnering with others to address hunger, poverty, family needs, and emergency assistance. We believe that serving our neighbors is both a privilege and a responsibility entrusted to us by God.

As we continue our journey, we remain dedicated to sharing Christ’s love through acts of service, generosity, and compassion. We believe that even the smallest act of kindness can transform lives and that together, through faith and community, we can make a meaningful difference in the world.
